Turf Reinforcement and Grass Protection

Our Porous & Load Bearing Grass Guard Pavement System offers two ranges of quality turf reinforcement and grass protection products. They provide a stable surface to allow for direct parking, driving, walking, riding or lounging on grass areas without damaging the grass or its roots. The natural looking green mesh which is manufactured from high quality polymers performs the function of asphalt or concrete pavement surface at a fraction of their cost and without the added stormwater run off.

In an effort to minimize run off, communities across the nation are restricting the amount of impervious surfaces such as asphalt and concrete allowed on commercial and residential building sites. Since the Grass Guard system is completely porous, it is a very desirable alternative. It requires no expensive drainage system and little in the way of maintenance. The system is ideal for any grass surface that will be exposed to any type of routine traffic.

TURF REINFORCEMENT - TR
TR is a strong, high density polyethylene net. Once installed, it provides a very stable surface suitable to withstand the loading of cars and lightweight trucks.

The Grass Protection (GP) mesh provides protection and reinforcement of grassy areas used by all types of vehicles or heavy pedestrian traffic. The thick profile of the GP prevents vehicle tires and foot traffic from coming in direct contact with the tender crown of the grass. It enables the grass to withstand frequent traffic without suffering significant damage. It can be used for both permanent and temporary applications.

The Turf Reinforcement (TR) provides reinforcement of grassy areas to minimize rutting. The thinner profile limits its ability to protect the tender crown, but provides sufficient strength to support vehicles, even under the wettest of conditions. TR is perfect for applications where exposure to traffic is less frequent and the grass has time to recover between passes.

GRASS PROTECTION - GP
GP is a heavy duty extruded polymer grid for protecting and reinforcing grassed areas used by vehicles. Once established, GP will protect the grass roots and help prevent rutting. Our GP is designed to protect and reinforce grassed areas used by heavy vehicles.
